    Fine squatting, indeed.

I think most of the "problems" with Calstrength aren't related to their "style" per se rather that they don't seem (I say seem because we may not get to see it) to work on their weaknesses and are allowed to get away with too much sloppy on a session-to-session basis...

    Thanks Jordan!

Chris, there is no such thing as style when it comes to lifting really heavy stuff. There is only efficient or inefficient movement in the fight against gravity. I do agree that they don't show themselves training their weaknesses enough in their videos. On a positive note, I really hope Wes Kitts continues to be successful. Isn't it interesting that the best lifter that trains at Cal Strength is also their strongest?

The point of this workout was to figure out my attempts for the Starting Strength Challenge at WFAC on April 1st. The 545 squat was fast. I feel like I could've done it for a triple. I thought about doing another single at 585, but I decided to save my nervous energy for the meet. The 235 press was a little challenging. I will start out a little lighter and work up from there. The 635 deadlift moved well, especially since I rushed my warm-ups so that I could make it to an appointment this afternoon.

    Here is the plan:
    Squat 540, 570, 600
    Press 225, 235, 245
    Deadlift 630, 665, 700
