Notes
Week 5 completed! Front squats were tough, but I found my 2nd wind for the rest of the session. I'm contemplating a deload next week, but we'll see.
I think that's all for now. I do hope everyone has a fantastic day!
Cheers!
Good afternoon fellow lifters!
September 2nd, 2017 - Saturday
AMBW: 138.6lbs
7 Day Avg: 138.1lbs
21 Day Avg: 139
Waist: 28.75"
BF% (Navy): 11.6%
Cardio - Jog - 5.5KM / 3.42 Miles - 34:30
It was windy as shit, and I felt like I was being blown away. *Cue I need to gain weight posts... haha
Anyway, some interesting data. I took some measurements back on August 5th and again yesterday. Here were the results:
Waist: 29.5" --> 28.75"
Chest: 36" --> 37"
Neck: 13.5" --> 13.5"
Bicep: 13.5" --> 13.5"
Thighs: 20.75" --> 21.175"
Weight (7 Day Avg): 141lbs --> 138.1lbs
Nice to see that my chest & thighs grew while dropping some fat off my waist. Seems like all that volume is helping... Need to CURL MOAR though!
That's all for now. I hope everyone has a fantastic day!
Cheers!
No time for curls today though :-(

Good workout this midday. Tough, but good. Added another squat set. I'll likely deload next week, but we'll see. Still chasing MRV...
I think that's all for now! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Cheers!
Those are some solid results - an inch on your thighs in 4 weeks!
Thanks dude. But it was only ~0.425" to my thighs in 4 weeks

TnG Bench - 165x8x5
Upright Rows

Notes
Good, but tough workout this morning. Cracked 300lbs for deadlift volume. I remember the days when I thought 300x5 (and maybe a couple more sets) was probably a lot of work.
I wanted to add another RDL set but I was exhausted. I bumped load up on both deadlift and SGRDLs, so there's still some increase in volume I suppose.
I think that's all for now. I do hope everyone has a fantastic day!
Cheers!
Ugh, math class is tough
That deadlift volume is crazy. I wonder if low back hypertrophy actually masks some waist fat loss.
Crazy, insane... nuts... yep!
I wonder the same thing. Generally, I don't "feel" anything in my lower back while deadlifting. I feel like my legs are doing all the work, which makes it harder deadlifting the day after all those squats. But, I do feel my lower back being worked during RDL's or SG RDL's...
That being said, while I do track my BF % using the navy method, I have a digital caliper that I use from time to time, and it supposedly says I have a BF% of 10%, which I find very doubtful, unless the "stuff" on my lower stomach is just excess skin (from my obese days). *Shrugs* who knows.
