    Friday
    Squat 315 4x3
    Floor Bench 315 4x3
    Single Leg Superset

    Monday
Squat 135 4x8. Shut down the workout. Couldn't get the sharp pain on the left side of my back to ease up at all. Tried to utilize the sensitized pain trigger to identify if there were any squat modifications that made it feel better without any success. I'm shutting it down and going back into rest mode. Wish me luck. Not sure where I go from here.

Back at it again. Only a few days after my last post my L4/L5 disc herniated on a relatively light deadlift. It was known that the disc was damaged and perhaps only a matter of time before it became an issue. I have spent the last several months rehabbing and very slowly working back into lifting.

To catch you up I performed a linear bench progression from 225x5x3 all the way to 370x5x3 before dropping a rep at 375. I will now be moving into intermediate principles for my bench. My squat is currently at 335x5 and feeling strong and easy. Have hit a fast 465x1 deadlift. If I were to estimate my actual ability right now I would guess 500 squat, 450 bench, 550 deadlift.

Sometimes I wonder why I try so hard. But, "what are you going to do... not train?"
