Thank you Carson. Hadn't seen that detailed story. Quite familiar with John's story and accomplishments from my facebook friend Sully's posts and Greysteel u-tubes. He is very inspiring. So is Sully, for that matter. I am so anal that i wrote out in detail all the training posts Sully put down, when he had a training thread here.

After quite a few months of zero covid cases in this state,a cleaner at a returned traveller quarantine hotel picked it up from a flat surface. She infected her 12 extended family members, and they spread it to many areas in the city. It is extremely virulent, where an infected person was infecting others within 24 hours. There are 4,000 persons in contact being isolated. The government has imposed an extreme lockdown while they trace and stop this spread.
All schools, hotels, restaurants, fast food venues, weddings, funerals,businesses, etc etc are closed. No one can leave their house for exercise. Only one person may leave a house once a day to buy supermarket food, or get emergency health care.
It is 36 degrees today (96.8 F) : I live 500 m from a beautiful beach, but I can't go for a swim. I am grateful though for a government that believes the scientists and hasn't cost us a quarter of a million dead.

Hi friend Jerry. So hope the covid doesn't go wild in your city (yet again). I was sad to see you so long the epicentre of covid in the US. i admire governor Andrew Cuomo who stood fast and did the right thing despite the abuse, undermining, and sabotage from D.H.Quote:

Dramatic end to our draconian lockdown. The employee at the quarantine hotel admitted he did not pick up covid from a pizza delivery box, but because he worked shifts at a pizza restaurant with an infected person. So the deadly wasn't deadly at all. We just have a contained cluster of 35 in one spot, and 4,000 contacts in quarantine. The state is fully open again.
