Well, the scales did whisper 247.6 pounds this morning. Mostly because I was squeezing its guts out, there was a bit of gasping and wheezing involved when I stepped off.

Are you kidding me? A 85kg, i.e. 186x10 squat, if I'm reading your log correctly? Good Lord, man! Great lifting!

Thank you, Oldster, for that kind comment. Unfortunately, WHITE MAN SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUE.
You front squat with more weight than that - ON BOTH ENDS OF YOUR BAR.
There are petite ladies on this site, who wouldn't bother to warmup with such a puny weight.

Hopefully, when my 6 month hi rep, hi set, prehab block ends in 6 weeks, & i go to fahves, i might do something.

You've left your age out. It's why when folks compete, they don't have 76 year old lifters in the same group as 26 year old lifters!

What you're doing is stupendous as far as I'm concerned. Keep on keeping on, you're moving upward steadily.

If i was a cat, i would be purring.
I revel in making favourable impressions.

But really, having been around longer than some, i have had the time to get stronger and more beautiful.

I am catching up with you in age and can only hope.to.reach your numbers.

Now you've got me anxiously looking over my shoulder.
But go for it! If a whipper-snapper puts a grown man to shame, it can only stir his ambition.

Well, if you stood on me, i would be gasping too.

The lat machine was like a railway station this morning, and the waiting for a turn slowed me down.
Thank goodness no one wants to do squats.

You should. I was scratching behind your ears.

But 198x10? Can't say wow enough about your squat, let alone done with all the other work.

    thank you once again, Oldster.

I follow lots of threads here, any i find interesting, and you are forever popping up, encouraging and advising.

You are like the Energizer Bunny!

My legs and i have been in dispute. Back in 6-11-2017, i told them, "When we go up to 97 k in the breathing squat, you have to bend more, so we can go lower."
And they said, "If you want to go lower with 97 k for 20 reps, you are going to do it without us!"
That wasn't feasible, so there was a stand off til now, when they felt up to managing it.
