    I guess you're right 57. Any number of people have said i don't look my age. Can't see it myself. I don't have the head of hair i once had.

    High Bar Back Squats, ATG. Finished the last phase with 80 - 85 - 90 k, where i worked up from sets of 5 to sets of 12. New offensive with 90 - 95 - 100 k, starting with sets of 5 and planning to get to sets of 12 via adding one rep to one set each time i train them. Should get there by the end of the year.

    Your plan with the sqts sure looks good. I guess it's whats called the double progression method. The basis of many programs. I mentioned this once here on the board and was po pooed. We have to do whats best for us.

    Not surprised at all Jerry. Apart from us they are younger, bulking up, and gaining 5-15 lbs on their exercises every week. Where we are - well, any improvement is going against the grain. I quite like the slow advance, getting used to the weight and improving technique even while the training stress builds.

    Thank you Richard. I follow your log, just like i follow all of us who are over the hill. You're a big dude (relative to me), and as a youngster, you'll be putting up big numbers unless you do something stupid. Nice and easy does it.
