    The DL volume isn't designed to be kept up with. This is an LP for re-approaching previous strength levels. The volume will decrease in accordance as the DL grows to be a high percentage of 1RM. 4 work sets of DL per week necessitates that the DL be trained rather lightly, and that's not what we're trying to accomplish. That amount of volume isn't necessary for somebody at my level of development. Intensity will do the trick at this juncture, and my latest deadlift work set is still well under my PR 5RM. I'm still increasing by 20 lbs a week. This won't last much longer.
