Nice to see a fellow student of philosophy on here. I'll be curious to see how you like the BBM Press template. Good luck!

Ha, I knew there would be at least one more. We'll have to see how much progress I make. I enjoy the split it has me on and it uses a combination of RPE and % which is great. Similar to the Bridge, but the template it gives you is a great way to track your progress.

Going to narrow my stance on squat. I've been getting bad adductor pain recently. It feels really weird being narrow but I need to get used to it.

Being sick also sucks. I hope to come back strong next week and redeem myself.

    Paused Squat
    260x4, 265x4, 275x4, 275x4, 260x4
    Pin Press
    115x4, 120x3, 115x4x2
    Close Grip Bench
    120x10, 130x10, 135x10

Squats felt amazing. Realized I was losing tightness and back extension by actively squeezing my glutes at the top with an aggressive lockout. They felt amazing after correcting that.

    Squat
    325x1 @7, 265x5x5
    Press
    135x1, 105x4x5
    Close Grip Incline
    95x10x3

Love how deadlift felt today. Single was easy. Form locked in. Don't know what happened with my bench single, probably didn't wait enough between my last warmups. Felt like I had more during the volume work.

    Deadlift
    335x1 @8, 270x5x5
    Bench
    185x1 @8, 160x4x5
    High Bar Squat
    205x10, 210x10, 215x10, 210x10

No complaints today. I can definitely tell I'm stronger on the press and squat. Tonnage is going up.

    Paused Squat
    250x4, 260x4, 265x4x3
    Pin Press
    105x4, 110x4, 115x4x3
    Close Grip Bench
    120x10, 130x10, 135x10, 125x10

A little upset with my press, but I trained early, didn't eat much, and didn't sleep much either. Oh well.

    Rack Pull
    295x4, 305x4, 315x4x3
    Press
    115x4, 120x4, 125x3x3
    Leg Press
    375x10, 395x10, 405x10, 385x10

Does this mean you’re unhappy with the press template? Or looking for coaching for other reasons?

I was happy with the template. I haven't made much progress ever since I finished LP, which was months ago, and I keep second guessing my programming. I'm looking to get my form adjusted mostly as well as have someone objective to watch over me. I feel like my ego gets in the way. Plus, I've just always wanted to work with an SSC so I figured it was about time anyways. The plan was to get coaching after my meet, but I haven't been progressing as I would have liked to so I pulled the trigger now.
