I've heard people claim the instability is good for rehab for "reasons". I have no idea if that is true, but putting a bunch of unstable weight on the bar is going to require benching in a rack unless you don't value your teeth.

I was updating my logbook, leaning it against the bar, when the guy next to me slammed into the collar of my bar with a snatch attempt.
That was interesting.
Overheard yesterday:
Client: “But we worked the back last week!”
Personal trainer: “Yes, yes, the back was last week.”
I can’t imagine what they’re doing.
