    Actually, now that I think about it, this trainer was talking about how she needed do a better of job of moving the weight slowly during tempo bench press. Maybe the momentum from the hanging weights would make it more obvious if she was moving it too fast?

    I've heard people claim the instability is good for rehab for "reasons". I have no idea if that is true, but putting a bunch of unstable weight on the bar is going to require benching in a rack unless you don't value your teeth.

    I was updating my logbook, leaning it against the bar, when the guy next to me slammed into the collar of my bar with a snatch attempt.
