Saw a guy yesterday go to the Smith machine and move the bar to about chest height. He then proceeded to duck under the bar sideways and then climb over the rail behind it in some weird movement type exercise. Did that for about 5 minutes then put the bar down to about mid thigh and then did a sideways high step back and forth over it. Should have video taped it but was too dumbstruck by what I was seeing.
