    I have no direct experience with any of this, so I'm only regurgitating what I've read. The section I'm referring to in MeanOlMrGravity is p. 25-26. The question was how to program the deadlift at the intermediate stage, because it seemed that high-volume deadlifting wasn't very productive. Rip replied that his deadlift program didn't involve using the full movement at all. He alternated rackpulls and halting DL's every other week used cleans + snatches for light days. He didn't do sets across, just 5 x rackpull or 8 x halting.

    So my guess would be that the programming would look something like this:

    Week 1
    Volume or intensity day - 5 x rackpull
    Recovery day - clean and/or snatch
    Week 2
    Volume or intensity day - 8 x halting
    Recovery day - clean and/or snatch

    For what I listed? One set of 5/8 reps for rackpull / halting.
