Tonight at practice, my 69 kg lifter lost the bar forward, and it rolled across the gym and smashed into my computer (which is somehow fine). She then fell over backwards with an 80 kg clean and tried to decapitate herself. Then, the bitch went and hit an 82 kg clean PR.

    It was pretty awesome.

I see now why you ban high-rep Oly movements...

    Congrats to her, also.

Today I took a PT cert just for shits and giggles and passed. I hate all the general PT certs like NASM (i took ACT) so I think my don't give a shit attitude helped me greatly.

A member of my powerlifting club participated in World Masters powerlifting championship today in the Masters 2 -93kg class and won bronze in all 3 lifts and total.

He lifted 270kg(595lbs),185kg(408lbs) and 260kg(573) in Squat, Bench and Deadlift.

    He's 52, I think thats awesome.

I went to the chiro for the first time today. They had a bed you laid down on with a roller that stretched out your spine. It was awesome. Then they used an industrial strength TENS unit that was painful and tickled at the same time. It was awesome.

Also, Tbone, that is pretty awesome. Though I am sad that autotuning vocals is apparently big in Russia too. Sigh.
That is a hilarious post. But I also noticed I can't keep the bar from rolling down my back unless I'm completely alone.

I walked 3km, with my 40lb gym bag and 20lb backpack, while my ribs were starting to burn, after heavy deadlift day.

It's about time I bought a fucking car.

What the shit is in your gym bag? A midget?

Also, did you recently have surgery on your achilles tendon?
