In regards to the most recent TM article that was posted, how does the H day relate to Intensity Day on TM as pertaining to volume and load? Would one follow the same line of thinking in regards to reducing volume on Heavy Day while continuing to increase loading?

    For example start with 5r x 3s dropping to say 3 x 3 then 3 x 2 or 1 x 5 on Heavy Day? Does that introduce the stress required to drive adaptation (assuming LD at 70 to 80% x 5 x 3 and MD at 90% x 5 x 3)?

I'm currently running 3 day HLM and have 405 LBBS in sight; would like to get there while managing volume and recovery correctly to not create potential for injury.

On heavy day in an HLM program you basically need a good dose of volume and intensity in that workout. Doesn't all have to come in the same session/week though. But you need to find a way to work in some very taxing volume work (i.e. balls out 5x5) and some heavy intensity work (1-3 RM) on some regular basis.
