Garage Gym Warrior - Medium Pulling movement

I've been on the GGW program for just a few weeks and really liking it as a follow-up to the SS LP.
A question about the medium pulling days: you mention that Power Cleans are acceptable as a substitute, along with Stiff Leg DL's and RDL's. Would Snatch Grip DL's be appropriate? I haven't done them before, but if I understand correctly they provide a slight deficit-pull because of the increased depth at start, and also help with upper back development. I got used to doing Cleans on the LP and want to continue with them, but if deficit's or snatch grip DL's would be of more help with breaking off the floor (my weak spot on conventional DL's) then I've got no problem switching them out, or possibly alternating every other medium pull day between cleans and a DL variant.

I'd probably alternate in the SGDL every other session with some other variation. But yeah, it works as a medium day.
