On ID I was scheduled to hit 335x5 on the squat. I hit it but my phone shut off during filming and therefore I couldn't check my depth. I was so annoyed that I very very stupidly attempted the set again and of course hit failure on rep 5. As you might expect, my recovery the following week was complete shit and I could barely grind out 340x3x2 on ID today even though they should have been relatively easy based on the previous week. Volume day was also shitty. Is taking a 3 day weekend a good way to catch back up on recovery or do I just continue on with doubles the next week? My schedule is flexible enough that offsetting the program a day is no issue.

Yeah you can try it again or just continue with your progression and move to doubles. On off training session shouldn't derail your program

Okay, thanks! I'll try it again, I probably just psyched myself out.

Couldn't a little outing to a buffet dinner fix this too? Serious question.

I had an entire buddy pack (feeds 2-3) from wing zone to myself. Will report back.
