As I understand it (please correct me if I've misunderstood) the novice program (labeled 1C or 2C in the book) specifies deadlifting once every fourth workout. A trainee, who for recovery reasons, adopts a 1 on/2 off or 2 day per week schedule may only deadlift once every 14 days (in the case of 2 training days per week). Is this usually adequate frequency to drive deadlift progress? If not, what would be the recommended change in the programming?

I generally don't have anyone deadlift less than once per week. If you merge some of the ideas in the book you might hit on stuff like this that is perhaps less than optimal. Reader/user is always free to make adjustments.

Also, if there are mistakes in the book they are all Sully's. My manuscript was 100% error free.
