John Hanley posted an all deadlifts consisting of snatch grip dead and etc. multiple days per week and for the life of me I can't find the thread. Can somebody help me out here?

Sorry, didn't see this Eric. Why no squats? Patellar tendon issues?

Whatever template I sketched out probably isn't appropriate for you (I think your "training age" is too advanced). I'll sketch something new up

I have a cousin wanting to begin strength training. She doesn't have a rack and has a knee that is torn to shreds from a wreck years ago and she doesn't want to squat. I was thinking of just having her do deadlift, snatchgrips and maybe SLDLs. What is your recommendation?

Ah, okay. If she's a newb, forget SGDL and SLDL. Just have her deadlift 3x5 2X/week.

    Mon
    Press
    Deads

    Wed
    Bench
    chins/pullups and/or rows

    Fri
    Press
    deads

Super simple. When she gets more advanced I'd swap Monday's deads for SGDL.

    I'll hijack this one.

John, I've injured my hip so that I have trouble squatting at the moment, but I can deadlift just fine and was wondering if you could comment on my programming adjustments.

    Previously on novice LP A/B:
    A:
    Squat
    Press
    Deadlift

    B:
    Squat
    Bench
Chins (alternating bw 3xF and 3x5 weighted)

    Currently
    A:
    Deadlift 1x5
SGDL 3x5 light (90% of heavy)
    Chins bw

    B:
    SGDL 3x5 heavy (run LP)
    Bench
    Chins 3x5 weighted

Just started two workouts ago, but feels fine so far. Never done sgdl before. For reference deadlift 1x5 was 155 kg, 3x5 sgdl light was 90 kg, heavy was 105 kg.

Not being a smart ass, but why forget SGDL? I LOVE these and my hips HATE back squats but im fine doing squats as

    Heavy - SGDL
    Light - Front squat
Medium - Back squat (thinking about ditching and just trying to drive front squat and deadlifts)
