HLM Pulling - medium day
Age: 34
Height: 6'4
Weight: 230
Squat: 320 3x5 Novice LP
Heavy: Deadlift: 435 x5
Light: BB Row: 250 3x5
Medium: RDL: 380 for 3x5
Hey Brent -
Follow up question on my pulling for Medium day. Is there any reason I should be doing something other than RDL's on my medium day? I'm not trying to fuck with my progress because it's working right now, but my low back is definitely starting to feel smoked a couple days after my RDL session.
I'm still getting stronger every week and setting PRs across the board, my squat is very quickly catching up to old PR levels... just curious about if/when I need to switch the medium day lift to something else or change the volume/intensity.

Well if it's working I wouldn't mess with it too much unless your low back fatigue is interfering with your other lifts. I would switch exercises like a SLDL or deficit DL if/ when the RDL stalls out.
