Well I think you are a little young to NECESITATE this kind of schedule but if work demands then it is what it is. This program does work and yes gains will be slower. But like I said if it is necessary then so be it.

Due to work and also general creekiness and need for rest I'm thinking of training every third day, so I have two days off each workout while still alternating between the A B novice workouts.
For whatever reason, has anyone else tried this and what were your experiences? Obviously I know gains will be slower but are they likely to be maintained?

I did most of my LP that way, just a few years older than you, due to recovery issues. It worked fine. If you know you're going to miss a gym day, it's better to move the workout to earlier rather than later in my limited experience.
