    But it’s a poor choice for a kid squatting and benching less than 200 lbs. The power building stuff I release has some basic assumptions built into them.

    I guess I'll just follow LP religiously for 12-16 weeks and continue to do more until I stall. My squat "max" squat is 80kg(176lbs)x12 reps now, but I'm pretty sure I'll do much more if I'll finish my linear progression to 130kg(286lbs)x5 squat or perhaps more. I wish I knew about starting strength when I started lifting. Thanks for the help!

    Whatever you choose to do do the LP completely before changing. That was my insinuation.
