You mention pause squats as an appropriate alternative but could front squats serve as a replacement for light squats on GGW? I haven't trained them much since I started lifting again last summer but I would like to start doing them again. My front squat max is only about 70-75% of my back squat though so I'm a little lost on how I should program them while running GGW. Should I try to LP them using 3x5 on light days for as long as possible or should I use percentages and rotating rep ranges like in the program? Thanks!
