How long is the turf strip?
I try to get in one or two Prowler sessions a week. I haven't been doing it too long or regularly so my routine right now is to push until I basically can't, rest until heart rate returns to almost normal, then repeat, generally for 30 minutes. Yesterday I completed six such cycles. I don't sprint, just push at a brisk walking pace as best I can, using the form Rip has demonstrated in his video on the subject (upright, elbows bent).
My gym has an indoor turf area and I load up the sled with a 45 and a 25 plate (after a couple of empty warm-up pushes). It takes me two there-and-back laps of the turf strip to get to where I have to stop. I'm wondering if it makes any difference how long it takes to get to my max heart rate. Meaning, would it be at all advantageous to add more weight to the sled so I'm out of breath in one lap?
If it matters, I'm 58, 218, 5'10".
Thanks.

40'-50' I would guess. Looks about as long as the one you had Chase pushing on in your video.
Mine is about 60m down and back. Find the weight that gasses you for the lap and do that 4-5 times 1x/week.
