Going back to NLP?
I originally ran a NLP earlier in the year for 16 weeks. I’m 35, male, weight 75kg (165ibs), height 5’5, consume 4000 calories a day.
I went from 68kg to 75kg and my results at 75kg BW were:
Squat 198ibs x 5 to 315ibs x 3
Press 88 ibs x 5 137ibs x 2
Bench 132ibs x 5 to 200ibs 3 x 3
Deadlift finished on 314 ibs x 5 (my form was way off at the time)
However this 330ibs single is from today.

And this set, 363ibs x 5 is from a week ago. I know I lifted with some flexion here. For what it’s worth this is approximately 2.25 my body weight.

I haven’t squatted heavy since so I have detrained. The most I’ve done is 250 x 5
Bench is actually stronger at 187ibs 5 x 5
Press is still at the same level
Sorry if I’m going on. But my question is, knowing all this, is it in my best interests to revisit a NLP or perhaps move on to an intermediate program? Besides squats, are novice gains still realistic at this point?
Thanks

After a layoff of any significance, always repeat the LP until you reach the same levels of intensity or surpass them, and then start a different workout having recovered the previous level of adaptation.

That’s great, thanks Mark. I will do just that.
