I had been doing TM squats for awhile -- 5x5 volume, and then 1x5 intensity. Now I'm just doing 1x5 twice a week, increasing the weight each time. It's working. Is there any reason I should be doing more than the single set if I can progress on it?

So once I stall would you recommend 3x5 twice a week and then back to TM once that stalls? 3x5 seems brutal. I'm at 500lbsx5 and it kicks my ass.
If you're at 500x5 and still making progress, continue with that.
