    Hello friends

I’m a big fine of Mark Rippetoe and the SS teachings.

I am at the low-mid end of ‘intermediate lifter’, and have been away from the gym for two months and shrunk from 90kg to 80kg.

I used to follow a 3x per week full body 5x5 program with at least two compound lifts per session. I’ve been lifting for 3 years.

    How to re-start?

Would you stick to the latest program and just cut back weights – how to decide how much to cut back?

Or is there any particular good program for easing back into it?

Progressive or flat weights across the working sets? (Don’t feel like testing 1rms right now.)

At roughly which point should you start training heavy, as opposed to “technique sets” for easing back into it?

For reference, my working sets before the hiatus were roughly
    DL: 110-130kg
    BP: 80-90kg
    SQ: 100-110kg
    SP: 40-50kg

    (I then weighed 90kg, now 80kg)

Any input would be much appreciated!

    Best wishes from Sweden
    Karl
