2 miles up, 1300 ft, with 25+ lb on my back. Not great but not bad.
Colorado Trail 5 and 6 completed. Had some slight issues but nothing that stopped me from completing. 50 miles was the total hiked.
I had three hikes under my belt before this one, which helped. I used a 25# dumbell for one hike and extra water for the others to help simulate my pack weight. My pack weight for the CT was somewhere around 30#.
By day 4 having some ankle issues. The right went away but the left persised until the end and is now swollen. Didn't expect that. Other than the ankle the other joints performed above expectations.
Beautiful 5 days on the trail.
Well done! That's a great way to spend several days.
How did the poles work for you?
