    Default Help me get to 300 lb bench

    I've looked through the threads and can't find something similar to this question...

    I'm 45 and trying to increase my bench to 300. I can rep 220 3x5. Ive only been lifting for about 3 years, 2 of which have been with starting strength. I achieved my goals of repping 300 for squat and deadlift. I'm 5'10", 175 lbs. Advice?

    1. Gain 25 pounds of bodyweight.
    2. Add 5 pounds per week to your bench press numbers, 2.5 pounds per workout
