Are you doing cleans for sets of 5 reps?
Hi, today I finished the eighth week at Texas Method.
Squat : 315x5
Deadlift : 385x5
Bench : 205x5
Press : 130x5
Volume :
Squat 5x5
Bench 5x5
Power Clean 3x5
Recovery :
Squat 2x5
Press 3x5
Chin Ups 3xMAX
Intensity:
Squat 1x5
Bench 1x5
Deadlift 1x5
No Assistance work and no alternating between bench and press.
Everything goes pretty well but I have been having a lot of power issues with the Power Clean in the last two weeks to the point that I have been resting for more than 30 seconds between Repa, the deadlift has also started to be very challenging. My question is do you recommend me to go through a Deadlift variation or play with a Rep range / do a reset for Power Clean?
