You can likely once again do 5lb jumps for the lower body lifts and 2.5lb jumps for the upper body lifts the first time you reset. Possibly even more than once, but eventually you will need to modify the programming a bit
Hi everyone,
Let's say I "run out" a lift on the SS Intermediate program (i.e. reach the point where I can't lift a heavier 1RM on Intensity day) - after I reset the weight (let's say drop by 10%), should I work my way back up using the same "weight jumps," or would it be better to decrease the weight jumps? For example, if I ran out the lift using 5-lb jumps, should I keep doing 5-lb jumps after I re-set, or should I use 2.5-lb jumps instead, to give my body more time to get stronger (and hopefully drive strength gains for longer + hit a new 1RM)?
Thanks!
