How about you read the fucking book I suggested you read? Practical Programming for Strength Training, 3rd edition – The Aasgaard Company
Where do we suggest that one set of 5 a week is enough work?
Then why are you asking about it on this board?
I wish someone had told me TM didn't work before I wasted all this time getting stronger on it.
That said, OP: don't assume that every lift is going to follow the same timeline. There is a wealth of next steps in Practical Programming; Andy Baker has several articles on this site as well. You didn't tell us what your squat numbers are, which would be helpful, but it seems likely that you're not able to recover from two deadlift workouts in the same week any more. This would be very likely if your squats are getting heavy. You could do rack pulls and halting deadlifts on alternate weeks. If you're wedded to doing full ROM deadlifts you could go to a biweekly progression where you do volume pulls one week and a heavy set the next. My own experience as 40-something on the 4 day TM is that pulling for volume and intensity in the same week burns out quickly.
Work on gaining weight, too, obviously.
It's already been discussed in the fucking book. That's where I discussed it. I don't want to discuss it again, since I already did a pretty good job the first time.
