Default Can the Power Clean be replaced?

Hello, I'm a 22 year old guy from Portugal, Europe. I have started doing the Starting Strength Novice Program about two weeks ago. I live in a small town and with the current conditions I have in the gym I go to, I don't have neither the appropriate bar, plates or a platform to perform a power clean. Since I don't have access to a coach as well, I don't feel that I can perform/learn the power clean the right way by myself.
Is there an appropriate replacement exercise?

    Thank you for your time.

The equipment you use for squats is the same equipment you can use for the power clean. You should be okay to learn the power clean by yourself. You probably did it for the squat, press, deadlift, and bench too. The power clean isn't so difficult that you can't do the same.

There are alternatives that have been discussed on this forum. You can look them up, but you should really be doing the power clean.

    Finally, an original question.
