Can someone answer ?
Hello my SS program looks like this :
A:
Squat - 3 sets 5 reps
deadlift - 1 set 5 reps
bench press - 3 sets 5 reps
B:
Squat - 3 sets 5 reps
deadlift - 1 set 5 reps
overhead press - 3 sets 5 reps
and my weights is : squat 60kg deadlift 75kg bench press 40kg
overhead press 30kg
and I tried last week to replace the deadlift in Workout B# with pull ups in gravitron machine but I started to stuck in the overhead press and even to loss gains(dropped from 6.25kg every side to 5kg every side)
and I thought that this drop in overhead press happened because the pull ups in gravitron machine that I added.
Also , I can't do powerclean(I tried to learn from youtube and even the official DVD of Starting strength but no success and I need something to put in Workout B# instead of the deadlift but not power clean or pull ups so my routine should look like
this :
A:

bench press - 3 sets 5 reps
B:
Squat - 3 sets 5 reps
Something which is not deadlift, powerclean or pull ups that I tried but doesn't work well
overhead press - 3 sets 5 reps

They already did. About 400 times. Look it up.
Why can’t you do the power clean? Where are you struggling with this exercise? Is it age or injury that’s stopping you? I learned but it took me months; I still learned. Get a form check on this forum and see if you can make it work.
