Default How to know if I'm getting stronger with the Texas Method

Hi, I have another question regarding how to run the Texas Method.

In the bench press for the intensity day, for example, I finished the 1x5 stage with 94Kg and moved onto 2x3, which I have finished today with 2x3x100Kg (it got very grindy and I will switch to doubles in the next session).

However, when I calculate my 5RM with my 2x3x100Kg I see that it’s still 94Kg, so I have not got stronger in the triple phase. Is that normal?

One does not calculate a 5RM. One performs a 5RM.

Mmm alright, I'm gonna read that as "probably your performed 5RM will be higher than the calculated one."

Texas Method lifting 94 kg on bench press ?? And have you already finished the 5s stage ???? Go back to the LP and eat all your daily calories.

I think it actually means "your 5RM is the amount of weight you can lift for five reps, not a number you punched into a calculator online."
