    Default LP Question

Question for those way more experienced than I. I will be starting nlp from the beginning tomorrow. Haven’t lifted in close to 8 months so I’ve decided to start at the very beginning. However due to our lovely government caused work shortage my schedule is jacked up. I work 14 hour days with a schedule of M,T,F,Sa,Su,W,Th over a 2week span. That opens my available lifting days Wednesday and Thursday on week 1 and Monday Tuesday Friday on week 2. I know it’s not ideal but would this schedule work

    Week 1

Wed. Upper. Bench int press volume
Thurs Lower. Squat int deadlift volume

    Week 2

Mon Upper Press int bench volume
Tues Lower. Deadlift int Squat volume
    Fri. Full Body

This is initially what I’m thinking given these are the only time I’ll be able to get into gym for the foreseeable future. Tried to account for back to back days worth the upper lower split. Any tweaks would be welcome. Just trying to keep up training until I can return to a more ideal schedule.

If this is all you can do, do it. But this is not the novice progression.

Thanks for the reply rip. Hopefully this is a temporary deal to get me through the next month or two. I’ll then run a proper lp.

If you are a rank novice I would do all 3 lifts on the same day on the days that you can train. 3x/week would be better, but if you can only get in 2 sessions that's all you can do. You still will make progress.
