Default Power Snatch in the NLP

    Age 36
    H 5'10''

    BW - 182lbs (november 15) - 194lbs (today)
    Squat - 205 - 285
    Deadlift - 275 - 345
    Press - 115 - 150
    Bench - 160 - 200

This isn't my first time through the NLP.

Right now, I'm not sure how long I can deadlift everyday (+10lbs each workout). I will have to switch to deadlifts every other day soon.

    Questions:

    1. How will I know for sure when to stop deadlifting everyday?
    2. Should I only mix in cleans every other day, or could I alternate cleans and snatches? (deadlift/clean/deadlift/snatch/deadlift ...) I like both lifts.

Here is what my most recent Snatch set looked like:

    Power Snatch 125x2 - YouTube

This is my most recent power clean set:

    Power Clean 12/20/2021 170x3x5 - YouTube

Obviously there are form problems to address for both lifts. Should I just focus on the clean, or should I work on both?

    You're not a careful reader.

I found a useful response from Brent Carter to a somewhat similar post here:

How to Program Power Snatch into Phase 3 of NLP?

    thanks!

I don't think power snatch is worth pulling in at this stage from a programming perspective. It's too light.

ya, i'm going to resist the urge and keep it simple. +5lbs every workout on the DL as long as possible and then rotate the PC.

Re-read the blue book, it gives you these answers. If you want the short answer, when your progression slows down on the DL so as to not stress the body out too much. For the second question, whatever the hell you want, they are the power movements, though I'd strongly recommend sticking to one as the amount of times you do power will also reduce significantly as you progress. Read the book and you'll understand what I mean.

If you say this isn't your first time doing NLP, something must be very whack with your progression.
