Default Any good assistance exercises to replace dips?

I'm eyeballing adding in some assistance work in future programming at the moment, been trying a few things out. Dips don't seem to be at a point where I can productively train them right now. Bodyweight stuff in general is always an issue for me. I could maybe play the singles game with them, but I imagine it'd take a lot of singles and therefore a lot of time. Huge time consumption makes for poor assistance work in my book. Is there another exercise that will be at least of somewhat similar benefit I could use instead for the time being?

What problem are you trying to solve? Additional upper body stress? A specific sticking point in your bench/press?

I recently replaced my dips with LTEs due to a shoulder issue.

Additional stress, mainly. I'm already planning on working in LTEs. I think they are phenomenal. The fact that skullcrushers caught on but they didn't just perplexes me. And I think they do a good enough job of improving on bench and press sticking points for me, since they almost always manifest at the point where the triceps take over as the main movers.

I irritated the shit out of my sternum doing dips. I've been using close-grip bench with band tension added instead.

Of course, working to increase the big barbell exercises! Why didn't I think of that?

If you're already doing LTEs and it's working then why do you need another similar assistance exercise?

I found push presses were helpful for increasing lockout strength since it's basically a heave up of the bar near your eye level and then locking out a heavy ass weight. More fun than a pin press and they also broke some monotony. I now fully expect to be taken out back by Rip or a SSC and promptly shot for saying this.
