    Hi Coaches,

I'm 6'2/38/248. I have been doing "LP" for a few years--I've been inconsistent with lots of deloads because of missed workouts, making slow progress. Sleep quality has been getting bad recently, but I've been more consistent with workouts. Rest periods are 10+ minutes. My last few squats were:

    5/16: 405x3x5
    5/18: 410x3x5
    5/20: 415x3x5 (I perceived as hard)
5/23: 420x2x5,4 (PR, I was stapled on failed rep)
    5/25: skip

Not sure where to go at this point. I was totally fried on 5/24 but feel somewhat recovered now after the extra rest day. My question is should I take a deload on my next workout and try to get a few more 3x5 workouts, or do I switch to backoff sets (or something else) now?

    Thanks guys,

    Sebastian

Go to 16+ minutes between sets. At least.

    Coach,

I took 14 minutes between the first and second sets and 19 minutes between the second and third set. How long can I rest?

Thank you always for your help,

    Sebastian

How bad do you want to get the last rep of the last set? That's how long you rest. But you are coming up on a switch to weekly programming soon, so make your plans.

The most I have come to rest doing NLP is 15 min. What is the recommended maximum? If there is one.
