I’ve been pressing 3 days a week now for several months with a couple of layoffs for vacation. 5x3 on Mondays, 5x5 on Wednesdays and 5x1 on Fridays. Bench one day a week as that is all my shoulder will seem to tolerate. Missed my 5th single last week. I am considering adding a fourth pressing day? Does that seem excessive? I really want to hit 2 plates by the end of the year. I’m thinking a high intensity pin press (singles or doubles) would be beneficial. Thoughts?

I asked a similar question a few months ago.
Pressing four days a week
I haven’t gone to four days yet because three days is still making progress. I was doing the same program as you at one point. Switching the three sets of five for either two heavy triples or three doubles made a world of difference for my heavy singles.
