I don't think it's wise to take 2.5kg jumps on your 5x5 and 1.5kg jumps on your 1RM. The opposite is probably better. Remember, 2.5kg is 5,5lbs not 5, that adds up pretty fast

In my gym bag I always have 2x 500g plates (for a 2.2 lb jump), but I will see if I can find some 125g plates for a rainy day and a smaller jump - for the press this will be very helpful...

I don't think you need less than 2lbs jumps, especially on your intensity day, but yeah definitely not more than 5lbs
