    At least it was a full rack to fall back into rather than the staircase type at my gym.

    Yeah, with a non-adjustable pins and a non-adjustable safety bar (in my case). I go deep enough to hit the bar on the safety rack all the time, which combines with my stretch reflex in very exciting ways. Strong core is good.
