    Hey Mark,

Last night on my 5th rep of 345 deadlift I injured my low back. It was about a third of the way up the concentric phase I just felt my back lock up. Anyways that night I was totally pain free when standing up or laying down but the process of getting up from laying down took me about 30 mins at a time. I just couldn't get up without maneuvering like an idiot on the floor and using objects to "dip" my way up from a kneeling position. This morning I wake up and now I literally can't get up at all. Laying down is totally pain free. Took me 40 mins to walk 5 steps into the bathroom...it almost feels like my low back, just above the sacrum is stretching apart....but I'm stuck In bed now and any attempts to get up have been futile thus far, squeezing abs tight, hard lumbar extension, nothing works. Any idea what this injury is exactly? No tingling or pain in legs or feet. Thanks

    -Corey

You hurt your back. I know how ya feel, I ve been there a time or three due to work related shit. I find a good old fashioned back massage helps and maybe take easy. Although don't take it too easy for too long. I don't know, I am not a doctor but I ve hurt my back . I find a little rest and a good massage and as far as my job maybe alittle ibprofin . I don't know where your at as far as age, how long you been training, etc. I would post some form checks aslo.
