That is going to be highly dependent upon which bone we are talking about and how it was broken. A cracked rib will heal much more quickly than a spiral fracture of the femur.

Neat picture of a hand, eh?

    Sorry.I didn't detailed it.

3weeks ago,My foot bone is broken by doing jump.

MRI reveals that near the Os triquetrum is broken. It was not too wide or big.

Now i can do heavy squat with some tolerable pain.but i want to do running and jump again.

I just want carefully treat it because my sprint competition is so close.

How long time do you expect about? and any similar experience with it?

    Thanks.

The foot bone? Is that the one that is connected to the shin bone? Also, it was my understanding that the triquetal bone is normally found in the hand. Perhaps this is no longer the case with the younger generations.

I'm confused. You've seen a doctor and had an MRI and maybe an x-ray. Why are you asking us about this? What could a bunch of people you don't know on the Internet tell you besides, "If it hurts real badly, then don't do it?" We don't know and we certainly cannot tell you anything based on what you've told us. You broke your foot, or was it your hand? This may mean you cannot compete for a while. Life sucks that way sometimes. However, maybe you can. I sure as hell wouldn't listen to my opinion on the matter.

Doctors aren't always wrong, although they can be overly cautious. Your doctor examined you which is a hell of a lot more than we can do here. The rest is up to you to figure out, unfortunately. Let pain be your guide. Good luck.
