Starting Strength Lifter Rankings
Overall:
Above all else, this is just for fun. The intention here is to generate some friendly competition, provide motivation, and help everyone add that next 5lbs to their lifts. Don't be a douchebag. There is nothing at stake here. You know exactly what I'm talking about.
You may not use one rep max calculators to provide an estimate of your current max. If your best squat is 315x5x3 then your squat is considered 315. We all realize the lifter squats much more than 315 in this scenario, but these calculators are just wholly unreliable. Until you load the weight and lift it, it doesn't count. Sorry.
Powerlifting Rankings:
This ranking system is intended for "raw" lifters only. If you use single ply or multiply equipment, you're not applicable. At this time, I don't believe the SS community has enough geared lifters to make any geared rankings viable or worthwhile.
For your lifts to count:
a) Your squats must be below parallel
b) Your bench must be brought from lockout to your chest and back again without the help of a spotter
c) Your deadlifts must start from a deadstop, they must be fully locked out without a hitch, and you may not use straps
In order to receive a ranking, you must provide the following information:
a) Your sex
b) Your age
c) Your bodyweight
-If the lifts occurred on different days, your heaviest bodyweight at the time you completed any of your submitted lifts will be used for the ranking
d) Your best squat, bench, deadlift, and total
-Please denote whether:
i) the squat was in wraps or sleeves, ex. 551w (wraps) or 551s (sleeves)
ii) the bench was paused or touch and go, ex. 320p (paused) vs 315t (tng)
iii) the deadlift was conventional or sumo or not, ex. 535c (conv) vs 405s (sumo)
iv) your total was occurred in a meet or in the gym, ex. 1405m (meet) vs 1295g (gym)
-Please realize these are demarcations are for the convenience of both you and other lifters. Your lifts still count either way.
d)Evidence of your lifting
-If you have videos, please provide links. If you have meet documentation, please provide that link. If you have a training log on this site that has been consistently updated for 3-6+ months, please link that. If you can link the specific workouts where you achieved your PRs, all the better. Just to reiterate, logs ARE sufficient evidence.
Overhead Press Rankings
The bar must start from below the chin and be pressed to lockout without using your legs.
In order to receive a ranking, you must provide the following information:
a) Your sex
b) Your age
c) Your bodyweight
-Weigh-in must occur on the same day as the lift
d) Evidence of your lifting
-If you have videos, please provide links. If you have meet documentation, please provide that link. If you have a training log on this site that has been consistently updated for 3-6+ months, please link that. If you can link the specific workouts where you achieved your PRs, all the better. Just to reiterate, logs ARE sufficient evidence.

Don't worry about trying to mimic the formatting, peeps. I can do it automatically and faster. So, yeah.
