Your abs control your low back position, keeping it from overextending. You don't lean back -- you push your hips forward.

I've read SS3rd Ed and watched the video's you put up on youtube but I'm still a bit confused about the back position during the press. In the deadlift chapter, in Fig 4-45 you demonstrate how overzealous lockout can cause back injury, so how do we lean back in the press without causing this problem?

So is a little bending of the knees allowed or should I be trying to keep them perfectly straight like when I'm standing up?
The slight difference in the amount loaded for a deadlift versus a press may also be a factor.
