    Hi Dan,

I train and work at Chicago Elite Fitness (http://chicagoelitefitness.com). It's primarily a CrossFit gym, but we have a small but dedicated group of Weightlifters and a Powerlifter or three. The pricing for uncoached Oly/PL only is much cheaper than the "CrossFit" pricing you see on our website, but unadvertised. Please come check us out for a free visit; I'm there M,T,R,F and sometimes Saturday.

Oh hi Wil F. I somehow missed your recommendation of CEF in my first skim of this topic. Thanks for the shout-out. Have you been? I don't recognize your name.

Dave, thanks for the invitation. The gym looks good, but probably a little further than I'm willing to travel.

I live in the Chicagoland area and workout at Xsport. It's open 24/7, that's the main pull.

I just joined FitPro West. Best equipment, atmosphere, and proximity to home and work.

Be sure to try the Italian beef. And to never, ever put ketchup on the hot dogs.
