Great thread, solid recommendations. I have the same trouble myself and look forward to applying his info. I, too, probably bring the bar down too slow.
Did you think that slowness specifically exacerbated the dizzyness more or the fatigue more?
So how does this lool like for a set of 5x 90kg?
It looks like the malnourished person in the video is placing the bar back down far too slowly. It needs to be returned to the floor far faster.
I tried the suggestion, putting the bar down as fast as possible under control. Made a significant difference in how fatigued I was after the warmups and during the set. Turned 5 singles into 5 reps instantly. Duh. Thanks!
Dammit, still too slow! I felt a difference as well, it was also less fatigued so it certainly helps me too!

I have the same problem with the same cause. Unfortunately I don't know what to do to fix it, I live on the second floor on top of my landlord and I don't want his ceiling to come crashing in.
