Bench form check
Greetings Coaches,
First off, thank you for taking your time to helping me and so many others.
I was wondering if you could take a look at my bench.
Currently on my 2nd run of LP following a hand injury (fractured 5th metacarpal of left hand), after 2 months these are my work set numbers:
Squat 100kg
DL 115 kg
Press 47.5kg
BP 72.5kg
BW: ~82kg (180lbs)
Video shows my 3rd work set.
What I see:
- Odd bar path from below nipples to almost over throat (start of ascent also moving further up my chest as the set progresses)
- Loss of arch when unracking
Any pointers here?
Oh, and I know the video cuta short, but I do manage to lock out the 5th rep. This set felt pretty easy, too.

I'm not a fan of the heels off the ground in the bench press, but those look solid. Your bar path isn't 100% consistent, but it's not bad, either. Add weight.

Thank you Tom. The heels coming off the ground is pretty well spotted, I hadn't even seen it myself. Onwards!
