    Hi,

I would really appreciate some feedback on my deadlift form. I have studiously read the deadlift chapter in Starting Strength about 5 times over the last year and a half and have tried to follow the guidance as closely as possible.

    Deadlifts 110kg

When performing the lifts my technique "feels" fine, however I do feel that my lower back feels like it is working quite hard. I know its a back exercise and to be expected, but just wanted to see if I was doing anything to excessively load my lower back.

Many thanks for your assistance, it is greatly appreciated.

(sorry for the excessive pauses between reps in the video, I needed to psyche myself up for it )

Your back looks good. The only thing I see is your jerking it off the floor. When your squeezing up and setting your back pull the slack out of the bar and then drag it up your shins. Your body is moving down slightly right before you pull up. Stop doing it and just pull up. Overall it's looking good.
