    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    ...at raw powerlifting weighing 198, what would his day-to-day walking around weight be?

    If competing with a 2 hour weigh in I would say no higher then 204.

    I'll ask the obvious follow-up - what about for a night-before weigh in?

    I'm assuming you're asking for yourself, so I'd experiment a bit as well. Five or six pounds is a good general rule, but you may be able to get away with a bit more, or have to keep it a bit tighter. And obviously it changes if it's something other than a 2 hour weigh in.
