I have a whole bunch of goals, some of which may be likely in 2016.

    Deadlift 605x1, 500x10 (current max 585x1)
    Bench 365x1 (current max 345x1), 315x5
Press BW (~255, current max 225), 225 for reps
    Curl 185x1 (current max 170), 135x10
    Squat 405x20*

    * One of my big, long-term goals is to squat 405x20, just because I think it is a pretty neat feat of strength. I don't know whether it will happen in 2016 or not - it depends on how quickly the 605 deadlift comes. Once I get the 605, I'd change focus towards pursuit of a different goal, either 405x20 or the OLY lifts.

Getting closer to a 200lb curl is of utmost importance as well.

    2016

    Fix my deadlift.
    Bench press 475
    Squat 600
Get the 40-44 100% Raw total record for Illinois for 242 lbs class. I already got it for 275. I need to do this before 5/26, since I'll turn 45.
    Learn the hook grip.

    - Milk my LP (and subsequent weekly increases) for all I can
    - Keep good form and stay injury free as weights get heavier
    - A respectable bench press (subjective yes, but hesitant to put a number on it for now)
    - Convince my parents to start barbell training

break american records for squat, deadlift, bench and total
    squat - 375
    bench - 270
    deadlift - 400

    but the most important goal that without being successful, none of the others will happen;

    starting strength coach development program
End next year stronger than I end this year. I made some good 1RM progress this year: BE 210 to 235, PR 150 to 170, SQ 335 to 415, DL 435 to 465. Would be great to sit down injury-free this time next year to be able to add another 10 percent or so to each.
